What do you do to keep your curcuma from getting dug up or planted over in the winter? We have so many that we've forgotten where they are and started planting other things in their spots while they were dormant. I've started marking them with plastic plant tags, but even those seem to get lost over the course of a few months. Ideas?

Plant tags are the way to go. I make some fairly permanent and hefty ones either 3D printed or laser-engraved metal. A friend mentioned something about planting a certain type of small ti (cordyline) in the same spot. Apparently it doesn't bother the cucruma and it ensures that something is always there.
Thank you,
Josh
